Another Cookbook Giveaway!

My Cookbook Collection - A Cookbook Collection
Some of my cookbook collection! Does it bother anyone else that ‘Nigella Christmas’ is upside down? No? Just me then!

********************* UPDATE: GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED!!!********************************

This little ol’ blog is two years old today! I’m not going to ramble on like I did last year but I do want to thank everyone who reads it and gives such lovely feedback on my posts.

To celebrate and thank everyone who has shown an interest, I am doing another giveaway. Have a look below at the list of cookbooks that Iย have referenced/copied in the recipes that are already on the blog. It hasn’t grown that much since last year but that’s because I’m getting a bit braver at sharing my own recipes. The winner can pick the cookbook of their choice from this list, I will buy a copy and send it out to them. No, I’m not giving away my own books!

The boring Ts & Cs:

To enter:

– Make sure you are subscribed to follow the blog. This can be done by signing up by email or a relevant reader like WordPress or Bloglovin. (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram doesn’t count I’m afraid)

– Leave a comment stating which book you would like if you win.

– If I am unable to get a copy of that particular book for some reason a suitable substitute will be offered instead. Links below are for information purposes only, the book will not be purchased from these sites.

– One entry per person.

– That’s it!

  1. Happy Blogiversary!!! You have a great selection of cookbooks, you will have to turn Nigella’s Christmas right way up though ๐Ÿ˜€ LOL!
That’s a wonderful list on your giveaway to choose from too, something there for everyone, I have so many of them on my wishlist…..I’d love Diana Henry’s, it’s had excellent reviews!

    1. Thanks Nicola. I know, when I spotted the upside down book in the pic I had to run to the shelves to fix it! ๐Ÿ™‚
Diana Henry’s book is gorgeous, I have a couple of them but I really like that one.

      No. 1

  2. Happy Birthday to your blog. I love a giveaway and also having a nosy at your cookbook collection. I’d like the Anna Olson. She had a series on Food Network Uk and I really liked her calm, no-nonsense style.

    1. God Grainne I couldn’t choose! I know that’s not a good answer sorry!
If it’s an all rounder book you’re looking for Nigella How to Eat covers a multitude. As does Delias book. Tom Kerridges are good for making ordinary food more special.
For healthy eating I’m loving The Detox Kitchen bible even though I haven’t made that much from it yet.
Gizzi Erskine’s is a good mix of healthy and indulgent. All very tasty.
Rick Steins books are great for curry and spice.
For baking, Anna Olsons book is beautiful but all written in cup measurements so takes a bit more time with conversions.
Ottolenghi’s books are iconic but I’ve found some a bit hit and miss. Plenty More is vegetarian and anything I’ve had from that is great.
Persiana is def my fav though, I’m still biased towards that one!

That probably didn’t help at all! ? And I typed on the phone so sorry if it’s full of typos.

      Donna

  3. Happy blog anniversary! Congratulations on making it to two years!

I am dying to get my hands on Diana Henry’s change of appetite. *fingers crossed*

BTW please do keep sharing your own recipes!!

  4. Happy anniversary to your blog Donna! I love following your food journey! (and trying out your recipes!) Two years.. wow! Well done!

I will be honest, I found it hard to choose.. but.. I’d love to get a look at The Detox Kitchen, so I would probably choose that!

Keep up the great work! And enjoy some sunshine!

    Chelle xx

    1. Thanks a million Chelle! I have to say I am loving that book, I have to resist the urge to blog everything from it ๐Ÿ™‚
I can’t wait to get out to the sunshine later but I’ll bet you already have 10k done this morning!

I would love Jamie Oliver โ€“ Jamieโ€™s 30 Minute Meals. I love the way he cooks. I follow you via bloglovin ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Happy Birthday love the photo . I have Nigella Christmas and it made me check how it was on my bookshelf. It was the correct way up. If I am lucky enough to win my choice would be Dream Deli by Lilly Higgins just because it caught my eye. Audrey xx
