If your childhood was anything like mine, growing up in Ireland Minestrone Soup was something that came in powdered form in a box with some questionable looking dehydrated veg. Nevertheless, I loved it.
… with Orange Hollandaise. Asparagus, egg and hollandaise – a classic combination. And it is a classic for a reason, it is such a delicious dish. Add in some bacon or smoked salmon and you have a very impressive starter, light lunch or brunch dish.
Cauliflower puree. Beige sludge. Seriously, there is nothing I can do to make this look good. So I didn’t even try too hard to be honest. But my God, it tastes delicious!
My Kitchen Rules is one of my favourite TV shows. I do watch a lot of cookery shows but I feel mildly bereft when a season of MKR comes comes to an end!
