This blog was 10 years old last month and it completely passed me by! Stunned I’ve managed to keep it going this long to be honest. I don’t think people even read food blogs anymore and a lot of my favourite bloggers have stopped publishing new recipes. But as I’m not a video type person […]
I think what I’ll miss most about working from home when we return to the office is lunch. Soup and reheated leftovers are great and all, but I have really enjoyed experimenting with tasty quick lunches. Apart from Things on Toast, eggs have featured heavily. However, my last two posts for this and my Chocolate Truffle Cake and all the comments etc. disappeared. So I have recovered them and am […]
Nigella has a recipe in Simply Nigella for a nice Pea and Broccoli Soup. It looks very fresh and very healthy. This recipe is not quite as healthy. It’s not bad for you or anything, I’ve just used stock and a little dairy. And then I stuck cheesy croutons on top.
I recently saw a post for a shaved asparagus recipe and I thought it looked so elegant I’d have to give it a go. My efforts don’t look quite as elegant!
